Part-time fte - 18 hours per week, 36 weeks per year

About this role

Join our highly professional, committed and student focused academic community within the Support and information Zone (SIZ) team based at the Chichester and Bognor Regis campus. The Support and Information Zone (SIZ) provides a high-quality enquiry handling and reception service, or 'one-stop-shop' for students, staff and visitors to the University. We are now recruiting for a part-time Service Advisor to join our successful team based at both the Bognor Regis Campus and the Bishop Otter Campus, Chichester.**
About you

The appointed postholder will have a welcoming, and pro-active problem-solving approach and will be able to act as a key contact with Professional Service teams and Academic departments. You will be willing to engage in appropriate training and development to ensure the highest level of customer service.

The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills along with proven experience of delivering first line customer service and support in a complex environment. Experience or demonstrable skills in first line IT support is essential for this post, as is the ability to appreciate issues from a service user's perspective, offering an empathetic and empowering approach to others.
