Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Systems Partner to join our finance and systems team based in Doncaster.

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in the company's Business Systems team, navigating and leading initiatives during an unprecedented period of change.

The Business Systems Partner will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects within the finance and systems domain, ensuring efficient execution and timely delivery.


Key accountabilities:


As a Business Systems Partner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget whilst meeting the highest quality standards.


Key duties will include:

  • Work with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, allocating resources and monitoring progress.
  • Develop and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Manage all project documentation.
  • Identify and proactively address risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Establish and manage a project's RAAIDD (Risk, Assumption, Action, Issue, Decision, and Dependency) log.
  • Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders regularly.
  • Implement effective change management processes to deal with changes in project scope, schedule or budget.
  • Ensure changes are thoroughly documented, communicated and approved by relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide clear direction and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Line management of a Trainee Business Systems Partner (enrolled on the Level 4 Associate Project Manager apprenticeship).

Skills & experience:


  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A*C) including English and Maths.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven experience as a project manager, with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Holds a project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM).
  • Allround change specialist with a strong attention to detail.
  • Line management experience.
  • Any relevant experience of working in a finance function would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to actively engage with the COINS system to understand how processes (relevant to the project) work.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of using COINS would be beneficial but not essential.
