THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit multiple Assembly Operators for our client based on the Belmont Estate in Durham.

Our client is a family owned North East based manufacturer who have over 20 years' experience in the Industry. The business supplies various joinery products for the UK construction industry.

They are a forward-thinking business who are putting sustainability first and work with established names in the Private and Public sectors.

The organisation provides a strong network of training and support. They will work with you to develop your skill setand competency.

THE ROLE
Assembling high quality door sets
Working in a busy manufacturing environment
Using a variety of hand tools and machines
Working to specific instructions
Lifting, walking and handling stock
Quality checking components and ensuring work meets desired standards

THE PERSON
You will be physically fit, have the ability to lift and handle stock.
Experienced in manufacturing, a self-motivator and team player.
Good attention to detail with the desire to learn new things.

THE PACKAGE

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 6am - 4.30pm
Overtime on a Friday (paid at time and half)


Salary:
Starting at £9.50 p/hr. (Pay parity with permanent workers from day one). However, with training and mastery within the role, there is an opportunity to transition through the pay grades. This is an entry level role.
