Job Description - Senior Associate within Family Department


Our client is a highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for providing expert legal advice to clients across a wide range of sectors.

They are now seeking a Senior Associate to join the Family Department and lead on a broad range of family law matters for their clients.

As a Senior Associate within the Family Department, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a range of high-value and complex family law cases, including divorce and separation, financial settlements, children disputes, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and referrers, providing legal advice and guidance in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Supporting junior members of the team in developing their legal and professional skills.
  • Keeping uptodate with the latest developments and trends in family law, and contributing to the firm's legal knowledge resources.
  • Leading on business development initiatives and nurturing new client relationships.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 8 years' PQE in family law.
  • Experience in handling complex family law cases involving high net worth individuals.
  • Excellent communication, client management, and team leadership skills.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to clients and their families.
  • A proactive and collaborative working style, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • A strong academic record and legal qualifications.
