Are you passionate about early childhood education and nurturing the development of young minds? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery/Reception Teaching Assistant to join our team in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.


Responsibilities:

As a Nursery/Reception Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:


  • Supporting Classroom Activities: Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote the intellectual and social development of nursery and reception students.

Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to students who may require additional support, ensuring that each child's unique learning needs are met.

Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and cooperation among the children.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with both students and parents, keeping them informed about the child's progress, activities, and any concerns.

Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of students by following established health and safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized learning space.


Qualifications:


  • Childcare qualification is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and parents.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
