FLT Operative / Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Driver


The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting for
Counter Balance and Reach FLT Operatives on behalf of a busy company based in Anfield Plane.


The role:


  • Operating Counter Balance and Reach FLT
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Manual handling activities such as (but not limited to) pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying will be required
  • Navigating through small spaces and high areas
  • Valid and in date Counter Balance and Reach FLT licence (not inhouse)
  • Must have experience
  • Physically fit
  • Able to work under own initiative or part of a team

Hours of work and pay:


  • 6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm / 10pm 6am
- £10.50 per hour on day shift with an overtime rate of £15.75 per hour
- £11.62 per hour when doing continental shifts with an overtime rate of £17.43 per hour
- £12.70 per hour on night shift with an overtime rate of £19.05 per hour
