Halliday Marx have a Retained mandate to hire a Financial Controller for a global MedTech company for UK & Ireland.
Private equity backed, our client is undergoing significant growth in both existing markets and via acquisition.Salary:
£90,000 to £100,000, Plus Bonus, Plus equity
Role:
Lead and mentor a finance team of 5 within London, within a global finance team of 15, in collaboration with offshore finance team leads.
This role reports to the global CFO and partners with the UK CEO in collaboration with the UK Local Leadership Team.
Manage month end close processes and preparation of financial reporting to the Board
Preparation of regional annual statutory financial statements
Lead and coordinate the UK and Ire Audit engagements, plus tax and regulatory compliance
Accountability for the preparation of regional UK and Ireland budgets as a part of annual Group budgeting and reforecast programs.
Assist the CFO, and Treasury Accountant with the Group's cash and treasury function, including daily cash management, debt, forex etc.
Play a key role in several finance transformation initiatives.
The FC is the business owner for financial systems and will actively contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives to support global growth initiatives.
In conjunction with the UK Finance Analyst, provide insightful data and business intelligence support to the UK business to ensure optimal clinical, commercial and financial outcomes are achieved.
Systems Experience:
Strong financial systems experience is required
You will have advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience.
Required:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA qualified or equivalent with 5+ plus years in a Finance Manager / Controller role
Have an energetic can-do approach, be hands on, with the ability to improve processes.
Have excellent financial acumen and commercial skills, the ability to meet deadlines, possess good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Excellent communicator across the business - in both written and verbal forms.
Based in London with minimum 3 days per week in the office.
