Job overview
We are passionate about having the highest standards of teaching and learning at St Mary Magdalene. With this in mind we are seeking Exam Invigilators to support our internal and external exam schedules.


We are looking for people to join a bank of Exam Invigilators at St Mary Magdalene to be called upon to cover public and/or internal examinations on an ad hoc/as required basis.

Lengths of examinations may vary and Invigilators may be called on to cover morning only/afternoon only/all day sessions. Details will be given once examinations timetables have been published.

Applicants will preferably have experience in Exam Invigilating, but training will be provided.

  • Have experience of working as an Exams Invigilator (preferable but not essential)
  • Have a professional manner
  • Are enthusiastic and have a friendly approach

As this role will involve contact with children we will take up at least two references before interview asking about your suitability to work with children.

Any job offer will be conditional on you having a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Criminal Records Check and Barred List Check, having the legal right to work in the UK and having satisfactory overseas criminal records checks if deemed necessary.
