Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse to join our stroke service, one of the top performing stroke unit within the west midlands (SSNAP A).

To work alongside the CNS stroke team and existing stroke MDT to deliver comprehensive front door assessments to include stroke pre alert, acute stroke management, thrombolysis and referral for thrombectomy.

Full time and part time permanent and secondment opportunities are available.

The CNS Stroke will be able to assess and advise treatment having skills to assess the patient with a stroke.

Advanced communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills will be used to initial assess and provide on-going patient care.

Auditing the stroke service and collaborating on improvement plans is also part of this post.

Work as part of the MDT to provide seven day front door stroke service along with ward cover.
