Position:
PC Co-Ordinator (Programming)

Location:
Ballymoney

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week

Job Purpose:
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Creating program packs to release to the machine shop
Keeping the material database up to date with material usage
Creating cutting lists and nesting using the programming software
Efficient nesting of parts to increase material utilization and reduce scrap
Building a cutting database to be used in conjunction with TMS extracts
Have a good understanding of CAD drawings to determine secondary operations within our facilities
Creating system symbols for nest creation from DXF files
Extracting cut times and weights of parts for TMS
Any other duties as may be reasonably required

Essential:

GCSEs or equivalent in English & Math's at Grade C or above
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Computer literate particularly Microsoft Excel
Good English communication skill, both written and spoken
Good Presentation and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

3rd Level qualification in Engineering
Knowledge of manufacturing, material management and industrial engineering
Experience using MRP Systems
Experience programming or operating CNC cutting machines
