Position:
PC Co-Ordinator (Programming)


Location:
Ballymoney

Hours of Work: 39 hours per week


Job Purpose:
Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creating program packs to release to the machine shop
  • Keeping the material database up to date with material usage
  • Creating cutting lists and nesting using the programming software
  • Efficient nesting of parts to increase material utilization and reduce scrap
  • Building a cutting database to be used in conjunction with TMS extracts
  • Have a good understanding of CAD drawings to determine secondary operations within our facilities
  • Creating system symbols for nest creation from DXF files
  • Extracting cut times and weights of parts for TMS
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably required

Essential:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in English & Math's at Grade C or above
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literate particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Good English communication skill, both written and spoken
  • Good Presentation and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • 3rd Level qualification in Engineering
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, material management and industrial engineering
  • Experience using MRP Systems
  • Experience programming or operating CNC cutting machines
