Search Finance & Accounting are recruiting for a Payroll Officer to join a large organisation based in Birmingham on a 12 month FTC contract.

You will join a robust and tenured team that is going through a very busy period.


This is a superb opportunity that will pay a salary from £25,000 - £27,000 plus excellent benefits along with an incredible amount of holidays. Flexible working hours are available and hybrid working.


My client runs a very busy payroll department that has several thousand people on the payroll therefore you must be able to demonstrate the following in the interview.


  • Manual calculations gross to net
  • Experience in weekly and monthly payroll
  • Dealing with complex and queries
  • Reconciliations
  • Assisting with employee queries regarding tax and deductions
  • Good experience of handling several workload commitments all at once
