An Exciting Opportunity to join our Doncaster team as the
Parent and Toddler Leader, the enthusiastic person, with a heart for community work, to join our dedicated team to lead our Parent and Toddler group and enable carers and toddlers to have an enriching time together.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Organise, lead and develop the parent and toddler group in accordance with the Good Practice Guide to make children, parents, carers and the local community feel welcome
  • Be responsible for weekly activities to ensure that all the children attending have an enjoyable, stimulating and varied session appropriate to their age and where appropriate include opportunities for family friendly worship and reflection
  • Provide facilities and resources supporting play and social interaction for children, whilst ensuring the room is safe and secure and toys and equipment are appropriate and in good condition
  • Maintain and encourage close links with the community and help to identify new ways to deliver mission and facilitate the establishment of effective collaborative ways of working
  • Experience of working with children or preschool children
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A commitment to Christianity and are a practising Christian with a willingness to offer opportunities to explore faith where appropriate
