We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaged Innovation Coordinator to join the Innovation Practice here at Digital Catapult.
Assisting our growing team of Innovation experts in delivering Innovation Services and Programmes that accelerate the adoption of advanced digital technologies in the UK.
The Innovation Coordinator role is the entry level position within our Innovation Practice team.Your day to day work will revolve around working with the Innovation team in coordinating, programming, delivering and documenting our programmes and activities, including scouting, workshops, webinars, events, running cohort-based activities, scheduling and more.
This role will initially focus on our MyWorld programme in the West of England, which builds on the existing creative strength in region to explore the future of creative technology innovation by pioneering new ideas, products and processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO (Duties)
- Responsibilities include assisting with:
- Meetups, Communities of Practices, invitation management
- Preparation of briefing documents and presentation slides, workshop facilitation and postevent packs
- Working with internal and external experts and stakeholders to aide the delivery of workshops across a variety of themes and industry sectors
- Communication with a focus on startups and SMEs and some level of correspondence with funders, sponsors and project partners
- Coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and team members to ensure wellorganised, successful, and engaging events and workshops
- Working with our Marketing, and Policy, Research and Engagement teams on engaging the right communication and capturing of impact, both internally and externally
- Working with functions across Digital Catapult, including Marketing, Legal, Technology and partnerships to plan and deliver impactful and smooth engagements that benefit all stakeholders
Requirements:
- Ability to capture programme requirements across the entire delivery lifecycle
- Some level of experience with managing stakeholder engagement and relationships
- Highly organised, able to look ahead and ensure that interdependent activities are completed to ensure adherence to schedule.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Proactive and selfconfident, adaptable to ambiguity, change and evolving priorities.
- Excellent analytical problem solving and multitasking skills, with a creative, optimistic and flexible attitude.
