The Customer Services Team is a fast-paced, growing service, putting customers at the heart of everything we do and getting it right first time is our priority.

We are a dynamic team who work together to ensure customers have the best experience.


You will have experience in providing outstanding customer service, listening effectively to customers, showing empathy and understanding, and enjoy working with members of public.

Customer Care, knowledge of MS Outlook, the internet or similar software would be an advantage.


You will be passionate about customer services, getting it right first time and providing a prompt, courteous and personable service.

Sociable working hours covering the operation between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, no weekends.

After successful completion of probation, you will receive enhanced payment.

You will be part of busy and target driven contact environment, delivering excellent customer service on behalf of Ipswich Borough Council.
