Role Overview:


The role requires a combination of operational HR systems knowledge, sound data maintenance, reporting, and adherence to polices that govern how data is collected, stored and integrated.


Our team, and this role requires the following:

  • Workday Specialist within the HRIS function focused on data management, system configuration and reporting.
  • Provide expertise in the integrity and administration of Workday HCM.
  • Provide expertise in Workday with the goal of creating and maintaining a "golden source" for all TP ICAP people data, HR processes and People analytics.
  • Day to day responsibility for the utilisation of Workday HCM and related and dependant HR Systems and a primary system contact.
  • Monitor and implement regular checks to improve the data quality and integrity in systems, including coordination and managements of regular system audits.
  • Manage system configuration, master data values, business process and security changes.
  • Plan, test, approve, schedule and direct operational changes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the effective implementation and daytoday operation and reporting from Workday HCM.
  • Technical support of enabling technology that allows for the execution of employee lifecycle processes.
  • Test, validate and implement Business Process changes within Workday.
  • Oversee, validate and support data transfer (e.g., API, SFTP) process to external solutions.
  • Maintain data to allow for consistent and accurate reporting particular focus on real time, daily, monthly, quarterly and annual HR MI reports (e.g., Headcount, Identification and analysis of workforce trends).
  • Participate in adhoc projects as and when required.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with operational risk requirements (e.g., cultural behaviours, security policies and regulatory requirements).
  • Complete any mandatory training by the required deadlines.
  • Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties Promote TP ICAP as an employer of choice.

Experience / Competences:

  • Workday certified would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of HR processes and data is critical.
  • Financial Services experience preferable but open to other industries (e.g. Consultancy, Insurance, Telecommunications).
  • History of delivering improvements including requirements gathering and testing.
  • Broad understanding of Workday HCM; business processes, configuration and build; security groups/policies.
  • Experienced in Workday reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Workday System Admin experience is required.
  • EIB and data transfer (API, SFTP).
  • Maintains data including data validation reports.
  • Can create complex reports including calculated fields.
  • Ability to design and create dashboard and MI content for internal clients.
  • Experience of developing headcount reporting on business, regional and global populations.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills to support business case for any recommended actions.
