Job Purpose:


As Business Development Support Associate (BDSA) you will report to the Vice President of Sales and you will handle all aspects of day-to-day Work Order lifecycle management, maintaining critical business development account data using the salesforce platform(SFDC).


You will collaborate closely with client representatives and colleagues across the business, coordinate the creation of work orders, and work closely with project management teams to track the progress of the work order.

You will manage amendments to changeorders, scope, and cost adjustments, and ensure these are approved accordingly and communicated appropriately.

You will also support colleagues in identifying new business opportunities through the efficient use of SFDC, ensuring data is recorded accuratelyand exploiting this to provide new leads.


Key Accountabilities:


Support and manage all parties involved in the creation of the Work Orders including internal project management teams, contract and proposals, business development, finance, and appropriate client contacts.


Manage the delivery of the work orders (including the provision of purchase orders) in tandem with the project management teams to the client.


Track progress of the work orders with clients, in tandem with the project management teams, including review cycles, and change order amendments, and scope and cost adjustments.


Track and manage the signature and closing of the change in scopes and purchase order creation with the client and communicate progress with business development.


Effective management of work orders opportunity management within SFDC (with attention on start and close date alignment, value, and duration of change in scope).


Work alongside the business development to provide regular progress updates on all open work orders deals below a designated value, including all work orders with a defined value.

Work to reduce Work at Risk burden on Change in Scopes.

Strong communication skills, able to speak confidently with clients, probing assertively and articulating key issues incisively

Self-development orientated, receptive to coaching and willingness to ask questions and incorporate learning quickly and effectively

A team/client-focused approach to work, building strong relationships and pulling out all the stops to meet and exceed

Able to build effective relationships and work successfully with people

Tenacious, resilient, and persistent, able to cope with pressure and manage changing priorities whilst focusing on the detail

Comfortable working with proprietary software packages and strong MS Office expertise - Proficient in Excel and Intermediate level in PowerPoint

Evidence of logical reasoning and structured problem-solving skills

Analytical thinking, methodical in delivering work activities (attention to detail) with first time quality

Time management and prioritization skills to meet objectives and timelines

Evidence of ability to work collaboratively within a matrix team environment

Good interpersonal skills written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail


Experience:

Previous sales administration experience

Experience using Customer Relationship Management system / platform - Ideally Salesforce but not essential


Education:

Bachelor's Degree or a related study, or equivalent project-related experience in a sales administration position
