Larchfield Manor is a 43 bedded Residential Care Home in Harrogate.

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Carer to join our team.

Day shifts - 8am-8pm (or a combination of 8am-2pm / 2pm-8pm)

Night shifts

8pm8am

The successful applicant would be responsible for leading the shift and ensuring the smooth running of the home in the absence of any of the management team.

It would involve managing and administering medication, dealing with visiting professionals, communicating with family, delegating tasks, responding to emergencies.

The role is to ensure that the residents needs are met on a daily basis, including walkarounds, some auditing, care planning and general quality assurance.

The successful applicant would be required to have a minimum of NVQ level 3 and have at least one years' experience of working in a similar role.

There would be opportunities to develop and undertake further qualifications ie NVQ 4.
