A top tier, Legal 500 firm based in Colchester has a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join the highly regarded Clinical Negligence team.

The department is made up of an experienced and friendly team of 11 and has regularly achieved high-value compensations in complex and serious claims.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the Head of Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury on a variety of complex and high value cases
  • Manage and mentor a team of solicitors
  • Manage a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims, including but not limited to, birth injuries, surgical errors, cosmetic surgery, dental negligence, mental health care, misdiagnosis and late diagnosis, wrong prescription claims, care home negligence,hospital negligence and GP negligence
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice and support

Key Requirements:


  • Previous experience with Clinical Negligence work is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
