Loans Officer

Glasgow city centre, hybrid

Part time, 16-25 hours per week, permanent

£12 per hour + 6% employer's pension + enhanced maternity pay + 1 hour paid lunch + overtime opportunities

Our client is a not-for-profit financial institution, whose goal is to give back to people with a common bond. Established for over 30 years, they are still growing and are now looking for a new Loans Officer.

They're looking for a confident individual with good interpersonal skills and IT skills to join the loans team as a part time loans officer.

There are excellent progression opportunities here as the organisation has clear progression paths across multiple departments fuelled by their rapid growth.

Speaking with customers via telephone
Handling loan enquiries
Underwriting loans
Independently managing own workload

Essential_
Customer service experience (min 1 year)
Good written & verbal communication skills
IT literate
Personable & friendly
Desirable_
Underwriting experience
Finance/banking sector experience
Sales experience
Notforprofit experience
