Scheduling Buyer
My client a leading engineering company are in search of a
Scheduling
Buyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning company and take the next step in their career.


Main Responsibilities:


  • In line with the production and project planning schedule, ensure all Purchase Orders required for Production, Assembly and Install are available when required and are delivered to the correct locations
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing report and records
  • Develop and maintain relationships with company suppliers
  • Communicate and monitor supplier deliveries ensuring they are on time to meet company demands
  • Attend relevant procurement meetings and provide team with updates
  • Support procurement projects
  • Support and implement category and commodity strategy
  • Clear supplier invoices ensure no blockage to pay based on correct PODs and receipts
  • Manage and maintain stock levels and investigate any issues that may arise
  • Other relevant buying/scheduling duties

Essential Criteria:


  • Third level qualification or relevant experience
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team
  • Committed and motivated with a 'cando' attitude
