£10.10 an hour

Working Hours: 2 days a week between Monday and Friday 08:30-17:30 (20 hours a week)

Main purpose of the job:

To assist with the daily operations of a busy auction centre through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard.

Due to the size of our Auction Centres our Yard Driving roles may require a lot of walking and being on your feet through out the day in all types of weather conditions.

Main responsibilities:

-
Store and park all vehicles on site between the yard and the auction halls, via agreed valet/wash services, so that vehicles enter and leave the auction halls in accordance with the notified sale day programme.

Barcode all new vehicles on arrival and tag keys.

Log and remove any valuable items left in vehicle.

Be responsible for
jump starting vehicles when needed, onsite training provided.

Line and lot vehicles for auction, ensuring they are neat, tidy, and presentable for auction.

Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager.
Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met.

Skills and experience required:

Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence
Be physically fit as the role involves a lot of walkig
Able to work in all types of weather conditions
Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
Willingness to help other departments out when needed
