Are you a caring and enthusiastic individual who can provide care for our students? If so, Didsbury High School has the perfect opportunity for you.

This position is contracted on a Term Time Only basis.

This means you will mainly work when the school is open to students and will not need to work during the school holidays, unless the contract requires you to do so.

In total you will be in work for 37 out of 52 weeks.

About Us
Didsbury High Schoolis the most oversubscribed first preference school in Manchester. We are a non-selective, non-denominational school, which opened in September 2019. Our students have access to state-of-the-art facilities in a brand-new building behind Didsbury Point.

We currently have students in Years 7 to 10 and will be opening our brand-new sixth form in September 2023.

Job Purpose _(For further details on the role, please see the Job Description attached via TES)_

To work with and provide guidance to their yeargroup Tutors
Assist in the management of the year group including pastoral support, achievement, attendance, attainment/progress, behaviour and safeguarding
Establish positive relationships with parents, staff and outside agencies in line with the school's vision and values
Work with identified groups of students with regard to progress, engagement and achievement

Key Skills & Experience

Prior experience in a similar role
Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*C) or equivalent
