We are looking for someone to work in our babyroom with under twos children.


Bristol Childcare is a family-run business with three nurseries across Bristol - Mornington House opened in 1971, one of the first nurseries in Bristol, and is still thriving today.

We care for our staff so that they can care for the children. We have a low staff turnover at Mornington House and it's a wonderfully nurturing place to work. We are recruiting to enable us to grow due to demand for places.


THE ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly and established team in our small and homely nursery.

You will work with the children as part of a team setting up an engaging environment; responding to the children's needs; working with families as a Key Person and observing, assessing and supporting each child's development "in the moment".


YOU WILL NEED
A sense of fun and a love of working with children.

Good communication skills with children, parents and colleagues, and the ability to work in a busy environment.

An approved Level 2 or Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification.


The successful applicants will also actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring nursery policies and procedures are observed at all times.


WE OFFER

  • Excellent rates of pay and contributory pension all our staff are paid above the minimum wage. Salary offer will depend on qualification and experience.
  • Paid lunchbreak and uniform provided.
  • Up to 28 days' holiday entitlement including bank holidays (increasing to 31 after 2 years).

Pay:
£19,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
