Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve relationships between colleagues, managers and local trade union representatives and actively encourage consultation between parties to maximise a positive working environment
Provide support and advice to Managers in the recruitment and selection of colleagues in terms of advertising and selection methods
Support managers to coordinate and deliver corporate training and development activities
Work with Head of HR to implement change management tools
Create and review HR policies and procedures considering best practices and establish clear guidelines

Skills and experience required:

CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
Experience working in a similar HR Generalist position
Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build positive working relationships quickly
Ability to work well under pressure
