About the Opportunity**:


We are looking for a Stock Controller to join and maintain an efficient and organised inventory management system, monitoring the flow of component parts and finished goods in and out of stock.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the stores and the strategy related to it.

The role will be based in our brand new office in Dyce.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
  • Working closely with the Purchasing Department to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock, avoiding stock out and overstock.
  • Working closely with the Production team to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Use ERP system to accurately track stock, ensuring correct traceability and costing of production orders.
  • Use ERP system to generate accurate reports on stock levels, stock movements, and stock valuation on a regular basis for management review.
  • Continuously improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise stock availability.
  • Any other duties as required.
  • Strong understanding of stock control principles.
  • Familiarity with stock control methods used in ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Quality systems such as ISO900
  • Proficiency with core MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage own time and workload efficiently.
  • Awareness of product range and associated manufacturing techniques would be useful.
