Senior Software Developer (C++)

Role:
Create and maintain the software suite using C++

Location:
remote in England + occasional visits to Reading area office (approx. quarterly)

As a Senior C++ Developer, you will utilise your knowledge of the SDLC, C++, and programming techniques to create and maintain the software suite.

As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to the development culture with Code reviews, standardsand mentoring of other software developers.

This is a brilliant opportunity to collaborate with QA's, BA's, the Product team, and other Developers to create market leading software.

Senior Software Developer (C++) - Responsibilities**:

Produce new software for the company's products and services
Assist the design, and maintenance of new and existing products
Contribute via the team with the delivery of highlevel system designs
Collaborate across multiple technical teams
Perform code reviews for other team members
Contribute to an agile team via refinement meetings, standups and sprint reviews

Senior Software Developer (C++) - Requirements**:

5+ years commercial experience of coding in C++
Working knowledge of Qt, multi platform, highly desirable
Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, XML / JSON / RESTfulAPI's
Experience working on Linux and Windows based systems and SQL Based database platforms
Experience of code version tools (GIT / SVN)
Experience using Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
