Job Description:


The Department


Spark Foundry's planning department is the heart of the agency -in terms of its function, its people and its location.

The Client


This role is working on one of Sparks top 5 accounts, Currys is a key competitor to Amazon in the commercial technology space with an average £60 million annual expenditure.

Some of the brands within this account include Apple, Google and Microsoft, it is a fundamental pillar of the Spark Foundry business and a high priority client.


The client is our biggest digital spender, they focus on using data to innovate and drive new exciting strategies in their media planning.

With this in mind, we want ambitious people on the team who want to progress in their careers. This role has been designed with your development in mind and our aim is to grow the successful individual


Responsibilities

  • Support the Account Manager in delivering research, insights and ideas for the Currys media plans
  • Staying up to date with consumer research related to clients' business and feeding these insights into client brief responses and reports.
  • Assisting with responding to briefs from the client as and when required.
  • Assist in developing planning presentations for key campaigns.
  • Show financial aptitude through accurate client budgeting and reporting.
  • Grow your knowledge of Publicis Media practices.

In 6 months time

  • You will have built a firm foundation of knowledge on your client, the media planning process and start to develop skills in client servicing
  • You will have a good knowledge of the media industry including different media partners, media owners and audiences
  • You will be working closely with your line manager or account manager on the team, inputting into campaign plans and helping to shape the overall response for the clients
  • You will have build solid working relationships with your team and be building your network with the specialist teams at Spark

Qualifications:


  • Enjoy working with data and can pick out trends and insights.
  • The Account Executive role requires strong attention to detail.
  • A strong team player who wants to learn and develop their skillset
  • This role requires an ideas person who is excited to brainstorm new approaches and solutions for clients.
  • You should enjoy collaborating with others and be able to work in a fastmoving work environment.
  • We are looking for someone who is proactive and results orientated
