Manchester.

Job Summary


The post holder will assist the Director of Clinical Services to ensure a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and employees, this will include assisting with stock and the day to running of scanners and contracts.


The post-holder will produce the monthly Radiography Rota, including liaising with trust contacts, booking MRI/CT pads, booking Ultrasound clinic space, managing holiday, core team of professional workforce, staff compliance and skill mix.

With the support of the patient services team add AQP clinics to Compucare and publish on ERS.


With the support of the operation manager and the team, keeping the service to high standard at all time and keep in touch with all sites to make sure service delivery is provided to the full satisfaction of DHC's customers.


Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and monitor scan demand and capacity.

  • Manage servicing of equipment, liaising directly with service providers and the Head of Facilities and Engineering
  • Monitor and Plan capacity of staff needed for the delivery of the radiography activity including recruitment, training, induction and full compliance with HR.
  • Mentor staff and support them by providing them training on how to adhere to nonclinical DHC policies and procedures such as: completing documentation and record, Consent forms, 6 ways check, infection control, Dress code, Origami, Patient survey etc
  • Visit all sites regularly and produce routine audits and checks per the company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a DIA in emergencies to cover absence or shortage of staff and train new DIA to act as advanced MRI/CT DIAs
  • Monitor and record the radiographers radiation badges
  • Provide administrative support to the operations team.
