Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-known FMCG company in Hull, as a Commercial Finance Business Partner.

The Commercial Finance Business Partner will provide support to the Commercial Controllers to develop business plans, set budgets, and prepare regular forecasts through the fiscal year, ensuring alignment with strategy and the operating model of Jacksons.

Responsibilities will include:

Lead planning and forecasting of commercial processes
Taking lead on financial matters and ensuring delivery of commercial objectives
Provide as required, sensitivity analysis / what if scenarios incorporating pack/price architecture, and various promotion strategies to enable increased understanding of how different levers can affect sales and profitability for all sales channels.
Financial support on new business opportunities and requests for pricing
Using deep understanding of commercial strategy, and propose relevant actions to optimise short and longterm business performance
Analysis of weekly and monthly performance versus forecast/budget
Maintain overriders and rebates for all customers, providing a robust reconciliation to the balance sheet monthly
Implement continued improvements and influence decisions
Implement robust process and procedures across the commercial arena
Support the Head of Finance (Commercial and Operations) with any other ad hoc duties
