The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist Assessor job is £35,000 - £37,333 per annum.

Main Duties:


Use your clinical background and knowledge of conditions to assess a variety of conditions including mental health, physical, sensory and cognitive conditions, as part of a holistic assessment.

Complete 3-4 functional assessments per day on behalf of the Department of work and pension (DWP). You will be assessing a range of health conditions

Assessments are completed either face to face, via telephone or video assessments in an office environment or working from home or a mixture of the two.

You will analyse medical evidence and then present a comprehensive report, which will then be sent to the DWP to make the decision.


Requirements of the Occupational Therapist Assessor:
Qualified as an Occupational therapist
12 months post registration with no restrictions on pin
A broad clinical knowledge base, with experience working with individuals with a variety of different health conditions
Ability to work autonomously and IT/ typing skills competency are essential
