Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in the Northamptonshire area who are seeking a Contracts Solicitor to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE:
Contracts Lawyer


LOCATION:
Northamptonshire / remote working


RATE:
£40 to 50ph


CONTRACT:
Initial 3 months, potentially ongoing
Please note that this role is predominantly working from home, with occasion (and very infrequent) office attendance.

The Role

  • To manage a full caseload of matters in relation to Contracts and Procurement advice
  • Caseload will predominantly include JCT's, partnerships, charities and G Cloud
  • To prepare and process all legal documents including contracts, agreements, deeds, notices, orders and consents

The Person

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with experience in Contracts Law
  • The client is open from NQ up to high experience, and rate will be reflective of this
  • Previous public sector experience would be highly desirable for this position
