Teaching Assistant | KS2 Role | SEN 1:1 | Long Term | Immediate Start | Haringey


Long Term SEN Teaching Assistant role in Year 6 at a lovely primary school in Haringey, North London to work with a Portuguese child.

We are looking for an empathetic SEN practitioner who is knowledgeable with autism and available to start immediately. The role would suit a Portuguese speaker but this is not essential, most importantly applicants should have SEN experience and looking for a long term role to start immediately

  • 1:1 Role with boy in Year 6 with autism who is learning at lower KS2 level
  • Speech and Language Delay, slightly verbal using single words
  • Strategies required to establish boundaries
  • Experienced SEN Teaching required who can bring techniques to the role
  • Portuguese speaker advantageous but not essential


This is a very good opportunity for someone to come in and establish a 1:1 relationship with a child who can be very pleasant to work with.

Experience is required to implement a firm but fair approach and help the child to progress with his learning.


Salary:
£75.00-£95.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Greater London:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
