Job Purpose:


Working closely with the Marketing and Events Executives, the Administrator will assist with the daily execution of the Marketing and Event strategy and support the teams' key tasks.


Key remit of role:


  • Responsible for the Marketing and Event Administration and providing support to the team
  • Support the team with their workflow by managing requests from the wider Institute and responding to colleagues
  • Support diary management for events: scheduling meetings and preevent calls
  • Making daily updates to a variety of marketing platforms, including the CMS
  • Support the event process from synopsis creation to followup surveys
  • Assisting with the Institute's flagship Young Banker of the Year competition as well as Annual Banking Conference administrative duties and Institute AGM.
  • Manage team projects, ensuring key dates and deliverables are met and updating the team when needed

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the Marketing and Event Executives to execute daily administrative tasks and coordinate the department's activities
  • Support the team in organising various projects,
  • Respond to colleague's request for marketing and event collateral
  • Ensure all Marketing collateral is within the Brand Guidelines
  • Updating colleagues on Marketing & Event activity
  • Attend various meetings, taking down minutes and distributing accordingly
  • Compose and update online content to the Institute's website and social media accounts
  • Marketing & Event planner scheduling & management
  • Updating spreadsheets, databases and inventories with data and information
  • Conduct market research and keep the team informed of opportunities
  • Analyse surveys conducted by the team, provide reports and recommendations
  • Keep abreast of marketing trends and innovations, making recommendations to Team Manager
  • Supporting the organisation of events, webcasts and podcasts including:
  • Distributing briefings
  • Setting up preevent calls
  • Speaker event forms
  • Assisting with the promotion of events to maximise engagement

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:


The job holder requires to have:

  • 1 year's previous experience in a similar administrative role is essential
  • Knowledge of the events process is required
  • Proven experience in diary management
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficiency with programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • An understanding and a knowledge of Content Management Systems (CRS) is desirable
