Description
Are you an experienced individual who wants to give back to their community? Do you want to do something to help older people in your area? Do you have a few hours available each week to put something back into your local community?


Volunteering Matters are running quiz/games sessions in housing complexes in Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent and are looking for volunteers to help with this.

It could give you the chance to share your skills and interests with others, while also helping create an opportunity for people to meet up and have social contact.

We aim to provide a vital social activity for older people, who may not get out very much.

You be able to play a part in deciding how the sessions are run, but always be supported by Volunteering Matters staff.

A couple of hours a week could make a real difference


Please note this is an unpaid voluntary role.
