Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and use of cloudbased platforms, such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio App Centre or Azure Analysis Services
  • Monitor, assist and resolve or escalate security alerts raised. Support in the promotion of cyber security and testing the organisations ability to react to cyber threats.
  • Responsible for defining, as well as executing the infrastructure maintenance processes. Responding to security and/or cost recommendations.
  • Ensure that essential IT administration and cyber security tasks are completed. Monitor and recommend best practice to improve security and compliance which may be promoted by NCSC, and similar, for SMEs and publicsector organisations.
Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year's experience working in an administrative role with Microsoft Azure. VMs, Firewalls and Active Directory
  • Manage, update and optimise Azure resources
  • A curious mind able to look at systems/data/events and say, ''that's odd'' or 'I wonder why ' or 'what will happen if I do this....'
  • Ability to liaise with end users in an easily understandable language / ability to condense key technical points to jargonfree understandable language
