Description
This role is based in a close-knit team in a busy and varied environment. You will be responsible for upholding all areas of the venue to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for staff, students and visitors, in the provision of room set up, cleaning, security support, catering support, Health and Safety and event support, working in a flexible way with your colleagues.

You will be expected to work in any area required by The Exchange to support service delivery. You will need to work flexibly to meet times of high demand, including some evenings and weekends as needed.

**Cleaning
**Ensure that the venue is cleaned to a high standard through daily cleaning, to include vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting and polishing as required. To ensure the safe and effective operation of the venue and the efficient use of facilities.

**Security
**To open and close the building if necessary, ensuring the well-being of occupants. Complete incident and accident reports. Provide a response to routine and emergency calls

**Event Set-up/Portering
**Help with event set up including collection and positioning of furniture, delivery of equipment, table layouts etc. Monitor room cleanliness and undertake cleaning as necessary

Building Maintenance

Report damage to rooms and log with facilities helpdesk. Be point of call for trades/building inspection e.g. lift engineer visits, maintenance repairs

**Service Delivery
**Be smart at all times as a key member of The Exchange customer facing staff. Be friendly, professional and helpful with customers to deliver service excellence
