Our client, who are leaders in their field, have continued to see growth and are now seeking a
Dispatch Co-ordinatorto join them at their brand-new office near Spennymoor.

You will be a responsible individual with the ability to react quickly. This is a varied position, with a business who prides themselves on long-term personal developmentand progression opportunities.


Duties as a Dispatch Co-ordinator:


  • Handle queries on all levels
  • Being responsible for the cost effective, efficient shipping of orders
  • Taking and inputting customer orders
  • Resolving issues and handling complaints
  • Build strong relationship with company partners
  • Liaising with internal and external parties
  • Planning and tracking orders to completion
  • Maintain detailed records
  • Assist with other departments where necessary
  • General adhoc duties relevant to the post

Skills:


  • Previous transport/dispatch experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Able to demonstrate excellent customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • A good geographical knowledge
  • The ability to work as part of a team


To be successful as a Dispatch Co-ordinator you will have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to meet deadlines.

In return you will receive a salary between £24k - £26k per annum, plus company benefits. This is a great opportunity to join an established,thriving company.
