Buyer
Our client a leading employer are looking to recruit for a
Buyer to join their team. This is a fantastic role with an award-winning company who offer exceptional employee benefits.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Sourcing products from current and new suppliers to build a bigger supplier database
  • Placing purchase orders with suppliers
  • Setting up minimum and maximum stock levels which matches requirements of the business
  • Generate supply chains
  • Preparation of annual trade agreements
  • On going price renegotiations to drive savings for the business
  • Ensure supplier price list is kept accurate and up to date
  • Building relationships strong relationships with suppliers
  • Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
  • Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Monitor suppliers performace
  • Third level qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Proven experience in purchasing
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems

£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
