Our client a leading employer are looking to recruit for a
Buyer to join their team. This is a fantastic role with an award-winning company who offer exceptional employee benefits.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sourcing products from current and new suppliers to build a bigger supplier database
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers
- Setting up minimum and maximum stock levels which matches requirements of the business
- Generate supply chains
- Preparation of annual trade agreements
- On going price renegotiations to drive savings for the business
- Ensure supplier price list is kept accurate and up to date
- Building relationships strong relationships with suppliers
- Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
- Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Monitor suppliers performace
- Third level qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Proven experience in purchasing
- Good negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of MRP systems

£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Armagh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
