The Company you will be working for;

The Role You'll be Doing;

  • Complying with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and minimising impact on the environment while carrying out duties
  • Provide general administrative support to the UK&IE Trade Compliance department
  • Process internal documents such as purchase requisitions and invoice payment requests via the internal SAP system
  • Liase with internal and external parties to chase import and export clearance/shipment records
  • Maintain records for Trade Compliance save documents, files and information as needed
  • Provide administration assistance on Trade Compliance projects
  • Administrating import clearances (providing clearance instructions to brokers, checking entries and retaining records)
  • Flagging additional payments to TC coordinators following incorrect import clearance (for Post-Entry Amendments)
  • Preferential origin administration as required
  • Audit Preparation
  • Manual despatch administration and record retention
  • Preparation of documentation for Export Licenses
  • Preferential origin administration as required
  • Maintenance of Export License records, including chasing undertakings for OGELs
  • Working with other departments to ensure Export Log maintained as required
  • Use SAP to identify and support with Zblocks
  • Updating and maintaining County of Origin records and tracker spreadsheet
  • Administer department time and attendance records

About you;

  • A-Level or equivalent education preferred
  • Have an understanding of business environment
  • Be able to work on your own initiative and manage/prioritise workload
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable
  • Be able to adhere to strict deadlines and have strong time management skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
