SEN Teacher


Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a new challenge? An Alternative Provision Secondary School in High Wycombe is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team.

The school is specially designed to support childrenwho are not able to learn in mainstream settings and is located in the heart of High Wycombe.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students with special educational needs
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Creating and maintaining positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Keeping accurate and uptodate records of student progress and attendance

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and current teaching methods for students with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
This is a long-term contract opportunity with the chance to become permanent after 2 terms. The daily rate is from £145-£225, depending on experience.
