RMS are recruiting for an established manufacturer in Peterlee, who are looking for a Production Operator to join the busy team on a permanent basis.

This role is on a 3 shift rotation. The rate is £10.42, plus shift allowance. This is an permanent position.

Responsibilities include:

Operating machinery on a high speed manufacturing process
Operating and controlling machines to standard operating procedures
Responsible for own quality and meeting production demands
Responsible for cleaning and basic maintenance of production machines
Active involvement in housekeeping and 5S
Active involvement in continuous improvement schemes
Operating overhead pendant crane (Dalmec Lifting manipulator)
In process quality checks
Achieve daily production targets
Record and log key information
Loading/unloading machines
Maintain process quality standards
Adhere to safe working practices at all times
Educated to at least CSE or GCSE, above grade 'C', which must be inclusive of Maths & English or equivalent qualifications and experience
The applicant must be honest, reliable and flexible
Team orientated
Flexible approach to working hours and overtime
