This role will see you working closely with the Internal Recruiter and Recruitment Compliance team to best support hiring managers across various sites and the head office.

Your role will be to attract and retain the best possible people for the business andsupport/coach hiring managers with their hiring requirements including advertising campaigns, interviewing, through to onboarding.


Key responsibilities for the Lead Internal Recruiter:

  • Day-to-day management & development of the Recruitment Team, to include:
- hosting weekly team meetings, 1-2-1's and quarterly report meetings.

  • Supporting the team with their training and development
  • Working closely with our office hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and supporting with:
  • Vacancy briefing
  • Writing engaging job adverts
  • Salary analysis
  • Advertising on relevant job boards and organising any additional recruitment activity (e.g recruitment fairs)
  • Hosting initial phone interviews.
  • First stage interviews, where required.
  • Supporting hiring managers with invites and feedback for behavioural psychometrics
  • Organising terms of business with agencies and taking ownership for these working partnerships.
  • Monthly reporting on store team levels to regional Recruitment & Training Managers and Regional Managers.
  • Quarterly reporting on time to hire and number of vacancies filled.
  • Supporting with training of hiring managers in regard to the ATS system and working with the In-House Recruiters to ensure that the system is used to its full functionality.

Key requirements of the Lead Internal Recruiter:

  • Previous recruitment experience either from in-house or recruitment agency
  • Experience of supervising or managing & developing a teamb
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to prioritise
  • Ability to write engaging job adverts and taking vacancy briefings
  • Experience of supporting hiring managers with interviews
  • Experience of using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to recruitment
  • Computer literate confident user of Word, Excel & the internet
  • Knowledge of Boolean searching and the use of a range of sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter and CV databases.
  • Understanding of Data Protection
