To obtain capillary blood samples for laboratory analysis from children of all ages and in all states of health. Obtain venous samples should the service be developed.

Perform point of care analysis (POCT)
To input patient identification data onto paper records and into the Pathology IT systems.
Maintain consumable stocks for phlebotomy suites.
To process telephone enquiries including those for results.
