Position Overview:
We are hiring a supervisor for our manufacturing plant that specializes in producing steel fencing. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the machine operatives and ensuring that manufacturing processes run efficiently and smoothly. This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills and experience in the steel fabrication industry.

Responsibilities:

Train new machine operatives on manufacturing processes and safety procedures
Ensure that all staff adhere to safety policies and procedures
Monitor manufacturing processes and identify potential inefficiencies or issues
Develop and implement solutions to improve workflow and optimize machine performance
Maintain a high level of quality control over the manufactured products
Ensure that all products are manufactured according to customer specifications
Develop and maintain production reports to track machine performance and identify areas for improvement
Work with other departments to ensure ontime delivery of manufactured products
Ensure adherence to legal requirements concerning health and safety standards

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of supervisory experience in steel fabrication manufacturing
Strong knowledge of machine operations and manufacturing processes
Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
Ability to analyze data and develop solutions to manufacturing issues
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
