HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit
LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) drivers for
Days and Nights to work with their client in Blyth.

Our client is an independent chain of department stores in the United Kingdom

The role:

You will be doing Trunk runs to Leicester for a trailer swap and back
Communication is key with this role as you will have updates from the transport manager.
It is extremely important that you maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users.
Important for Health and Safety reasons but you will be the face of the company whilst in the public eye.
You must download your Digi card at the end of every shift.
Full, clean UK driving licence (C+E).
CPC and Digi card.
Smart appearance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude.

Hours of work:

Operation runs through Monday to Saturday
Start times are as follows:

Days: 0600:

-
Nights: 2100

Pay Rates:

Days:

- £14.00 per hour Monday to Friday.
- £21.00 per hour after 8 hours worked per day Monday to Friday
- £21.00 per hour Saturday.

Nights:

- £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday.
- £22.50 per hour after 8 hours worked per day Monday to Friday
- £22.50 per hour Saturday.
