Office-Based Accountant

Farnborough

£25,000 - £35,000

Hours:
Full-Time

Benefits: 31 days holiday including bank holidays, free parking


Our client, an industry-leading International Managed Service and Security Provider (MSSP), is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join their team.

With over 20 years of experience in IT and Network Infrastructure management and a presence acrossEMEA, the company delivers solutions that maximize value and minimize risk.

This fast-paced role offers the opportunity to put your accounting skills into practice and work for a company that values hard work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management accounts and year-end reports
  • Bid submissions for tenders
  • Accounts receivable/payable management, cashflow forecasting, and reconciliation of monthly balance sheet accounts
  • Processing of VAT returns and bookkeeping duties
  • Maintenance of company documentation and procedures
  • Credit card accounting and payment preparation
  • Stock control using Sage and other systems
  • Participation in meetings with customers and company employees
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office, Order/Stock Management, and SharePoint
  • Proficiency in Excel

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting
  • Desirable:
degree qualification in Accounting & Finance or AAT qualification

  • Must have experience with Sage 50
  • International experience working with other EU countries and understanding of European Taxation
  • Full driving license
