£40,000 - £45,000

I am currently working with a key client of mine to find a Project Engineer who is able to come into the business on a permanent basis.

This is a company who are in need of an engineer that is quite well rounded within various industries as they do tend workon various different project engineering activities.

The company are a key manufacturer who work from cradle to grave and the right person will be overseeing the full life cycle of each project, giving support to the production and quality teams.

Requirements:

Ideally qualified to a degree level or equivalent.
You don't need to be industry specific, but as long as you are familiar with project costing and manufacturing.
You will be a required to ensure that all work activity is planned, scheduled and completed in accordance with the customers expectations.
Working with the sales team at the start of a project to provide costings and technical support in order to provide realistic and deliverable quotations.
Delivering working specifications to be able to purchase equipment, creating purchase orders, maintaining project schedules whist able to keep up with changes.
Develop long lasting relationships with equipment & tool suppliers.
Supporting production with your technical expertise and develop manufacturing methods.
Document clear procedures to be able to guide the production team.
Previous experience working with plastics or polymers would be an advantage.
Must be able to understand engineering drawings.
Good knowledge of Microsoft suites.
Excellent communication skills.
