Due to continued growth, an exciting H&S Coordinator position has arisen in this small but established Health and Safety Consultancy within Lancashire which is going through a period of sustained expansion.

Opex HSE Services Limited works with a number of high-profile companies and organisations across a broad spectrum of industries.

Your new role will see you beginning your journey as a health and safety professional. Reporting to the Health and Safety consultants.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Ability to communicate and present clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong admin experience.
  • Working knowledge of safety management information system.
  • Experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role.
  • Experienced in the production of RAMS and Coshh Assessments.
  • Experience with Constructionline, CHAS & Safe Contractor systems.
  • Experience with completing Health and Safety files.
  • Experience with training coordination.
  • Knowledge of legislations and procedures.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Critical thinker and problemsolving skills
  • Team player.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Nebosh

  • General certificate/construction certificate, working towards or commitment to undertake training.

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Production of RAMS and Coshh Assessments.
  • Conduct accreditations such as Constructionline/Chas/Safe Contractor systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of as Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans
  • Assist in the preparation of preconstruction information.
  • Assist in the preparation prequalification questionnaires and contribute to quality submissions.
  • Completion of Health and Safety files
  • Organising training such as manual handling and asbestos awareness etc
  • Keeping the training Matrix up to date
  • General administration duties and support to the health and safety consultants
  • Creation of toolbox talks and newsletters
  • Promotion of the business via social media and website
  • Reviewing, updating, and adapting health and safety policies

Salary:
£26,000.00 per year
