Our client is a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants who pride themselves on providing an outstanding service to their clients and creating a supportive and fun working environment for their staff.

Due to continued growth, they are now lookingto recruit a Bookkeeper to join their Accounts team in Bexhill.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and sociable team in a varied role offering exposure to accounts preparation as well as bookkeeping.

Reporting to a Manager your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of client bookkeeping and VAT return requirements
  • Schedule and control deadlines and regular work as required by the role
  • Undertake the bookkeeping for clients and complete VAT returns as necessary
  • Prepare management accounts as required
  • Support the wider accounts team in the preparation of year end accounts
