Applications are welcomed for this position within the Haringey Personality Disorder Pathway, which is a pathway in the Haringey Complex Emotional Needs Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to develop skills and confidence working with clients with personality disorders in a highly supportive environment.

You will work closely with a range of mental health professionals and will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of tasks to contribute to service provision.

The PD Pathway provides a service for patients with Personality disorders that fall within Clusters B (mainly those with EUPD/borderline, narcissistic antisocial or other mixed PD traits) and who are requiring multi disciplinary care and treatment


Within the PD Pathway the successful applicants will have a broad range of duties; including contributing to the provision of both group and individual psychological work, undertaking individual interventions for clients, and auditing and managing spread sheets for the pathway.

There are also likely to be opportunities to contribute to service development.


Supervision for clinical work will be provided by senior clinicians and caseload management work will be supervised by senior members of the team.

The Pathway aims to foster a supportive environment for staff and the work of AMHW's is also highly valued in the team as a whole.

The multi disciplinary team consists of psychological therapists, CMHNs, social workers, OTs and AMHWs.


Clinical:


  • Assist in the delivery of care and treatment for a case load of service users in the community with cluster B personality disorder under the supervision of a registered professional, in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, service users and other community agencies.
Management, recruitment, policy and service development


  • To assist in the design and implementation of service development projects as required.
Research and service evaluation


  • To assimilate data as required with regards to care pathway and waiting times.
  • To assimilate and analyse pre and post treatment measures to reflect good practice, evidence based practice and practice based evidence.
General


  • To attend and support business meetings in the pathway
  • To produce relevant information for colleagues and clients on psychology and services offered.
  • To contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice, through active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes, in consultation with the post holder's professional and team/operational manager(s).
